Welcome.

It’s a pleasure to have you here. My name is Frazer Bucholtz, and I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and the founder of Active Psychotherapy.

I’m based out of Burnaby, British Columbia, and offer virtual therapy across Canada.

My aim is to make a meaningful positive impact to support my clients to live their best lives in whichever manner they choose.

I take great pride in being a warm, compassionate, and understanding person who is fully committed to helping you navigate tough times and find a sense of clarity and peace. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, struggling with self-esteem, going through a major life transition, facing dating challenges, academic or career pressure, or seeking greater self-acceptance, I’m here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel truly heard and supported.

Whether you’re navigating what your life’s purpose is, facing anxiety, depression, or struggling with your self-esteem or confidence, I’m here to help. Therapy is a space of safety, exploration, and growth. I’ll meet you where you’re at, and together we’ll find a way forward.

Individual Therapy Sessions

I believe the magic happens with a collaborative therapeutic partnership, where we work together to discover your meaningful goals, unmet needs, and how to make a lasting change.

Change starts here - let’s connect.

I know reaching out can be the hardest part. Every message is read with care, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. You don’t have to figure this out on your own.

The journey begins with a free 15-minute consultation call where we’ll get to know each other and discuss what you’d like to get out of therapy.

It’s important to me that you find the right therapist - there is no pressure for us to work together and I encourage you to explore if we’re a fit.

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.
